“perigynous”---a term only used when there is a hypanthium.

ovule ----> seed (if pollination/fertilization are successful)

Placentation:
     Marginal (simple pistil)
     Axile (compound pistil)
     Parietal (compound pistil)

Inflorescence types:
     1. Racemose = indeterminate
               Raceme
               Spike
               Panicle
               Umbel
               Corymb
     2. Cymose = determinate
               Cyme (also scorpioid cyme)
